Join UD Faculty and Staff as we travel to our nation's capital as part of the 2020-21 UD Reads.  Our UD Reads title, The Underground Railroad,   The book is a work of magical realism, and details the experiences of Cora, a slave girl on a journey within the Underground Railroad. Trip participants will experience excursions directly related to the novel.

Trip highlights include a visit to the Smithsonian's newly opened African-American Museum, The Underground Railroad Experience Trails, the White House and Capital, a Potomac River Cruise, a theater performance, and more.  Trip cost round-trip transportation, hotel accommodations, and most meals.
