In this talk Dmitry will offer his thoughts on the state of Russia's fate at home and abroad after Putin's brutal invasion of Ukraine. Q&A session and reception to follow.
Dmitriy Bykov is one of the most recognized contemporary Russian writers, poets and literary critics. He is also an outspoken critic of Russian governance and a dissident. Bykov possesses an extremely profound and intimate knowledge of Russian and Ukrainian literature, and of Russian culture before and after Putin. He is the author of more than 80 books of fiction, poetry and literary criticism and he is also a radio/TV host. He is currently a visiting critic at Cornell University.
