The Latin American Studies Concentration hosts a series of informal conversations about topics related to Latin America and Latin American communities in the United States. We call them "Mate Monday" (pronounced Mah'-tay) after yerba mate, a traditional South American tea. These meetings are open to all members of the UD community and usually involve casual conversation on a topic in addition to food, drink, and music from the region.
