Guest Lecture by Dr. James Madden

Dr. James Madden---a philosopher, father, and martial artist---is a Benedictine Professor of Philosophy who specializes in philosophy of mind, philosophy of technology, philosophy of religion, and metaphysics. He is also the author of Mind, Matter, and Nature: A Thomistic Proposal for the Philosophy of Mind, excerpts of which students have read in UD's Philosophy of the Human Person course in Rome for the past two years. In addition to teaching, Dr. Madden has spoken at colleges across the US, including Vanderbilt, Harvard, Brown, and now, UD!
