Joseph Fornieri, a leading expert on Abraham Lincoln and professor of political science at the Rochester Institute of Technology, will deliver a presentation about the former president and Frederick Douglass from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Haggerty Art Auditorium.
Along with other books and articles on Lincoln, Fornieri is the author of Abraham Lincoln: Philosopher Statesman (2014) and the editor of The Language of Liberty: the Political Speeches and Writings of Abraham Lincoln (2003).
This event is sponsored by the Tocqueville Society and the UD chapter of the Intercollegiate Studies Institute. Pizza from i Fratelli's will be provided.
