Join us as we hear from Shafquat Rabbee of Santander Consumer USA and Dr. John Colias, Professor and Director of Business Analytics.  In this session, we will go through a laymen’s introduction to how loan portfolio optimization for consumer credit works and the crucial role it plays in asset sales.

About our Guest Speaker:

• Shafquat currently heads the Treasury Analytics team of auto lending giant Santander Consumer USA, Dallas, TX.
• He has been involved in various model development and quantitative finance roles throughout his career, primarily focusing on loan valuation, loss forecasting, portfolio simulation, and optimization.
• Shafquat worked for Citigroup, Moody’s and in management consulting in New York, prior to relocating to Dallas for his current role in auto finance.

Shafquat will answer questions and more based on his experience as a leader of a large analytics team at Santander. This virtual event will include Q&A and interactive discussion.
