UDallas alumnus Dr. Alex Valadka, Professor of Neurological Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and Chief of Neurological Surgery at Parkland Memorial Hospital, will discuss his work and collaboration with a front-line hospital in Ukraine. After graduating from the University of Dallas, Dr. Valadka attended medical school at the University of Chicago. His interest in neurotrauma and neurocritical care led him to pursue his neurosurgical residency at the Medical College of Virginia (now Virginia Commonwealth University). He returned to Dallas in 2022.
