Professor Boyle is a professor of Theology and Catholic Studies at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. He holds degrees from the Pontifical Institute of Mediaeval Studies as well as from the University of Toronto. He is perhaps best known for his edition, prepared in collaboration with the late Fr. Leonard Boyle, O.P., of the recently discovered Lectura romana of St. Thomas. Professor Boyle has also published essays on a number of areas in the thought of St. Thomas. He has delivered the annual Aquinas Lecture at the National University of Ireland, Maynooth, as well as at Thomas Aquinas College and Notre Dame Seminary in New Orleans.
