Currently on exhibition at the University of Dallas Thompson Loggia Gallery is "Meditations from Alpha Centuari", the quilt work of Ruth Callahan. This marks Callahan's first solo exhibition, which includes nine pieces of exceptional hand stitching and lush colors. The show is on display through Sept. 21. 

Ruth works for the university in the Registrar office and has been quilting since the mid 1970’s. She is an active member of the Quilt Guild of Arlington and the Etcetera Art Quilt Group, and has won several awards for her work including “Artisan Pieced Quilt, One Person” category of the Quilt Guild of Arlington’s annual quilt show.
