The Philosophy Department is hosting a book lunch featuring recent faculty publications on Wednesday, May 1st, at 5:00 p.m. in the Gorman Faculty Lounge.
St. Augustine's press released Matthew Walz's new translation, with introduction and notes, of Anselm's Proslogion with the famous and controversial argument for God's existence, which Professor Walz presents from a fresh perspective. (More info at http://www.staugustine.net/our-books/books/proslogion/.)
Secondly, within the Dallas Medieval Texts and Translations series three new volumes (16, 17, and 18) have been released since the beginning of the year. They too cover some interesting material - for more information, please go to the website at www.dallasmedievaltexts.org.
