Professor Kevin Hart is the Edwin B Kyle Professor of Christian Studies in the Department of Religious Studies at the University of Virginia. His philosophical works include Kingdoms of God (Indiana, 2014), The Dark Gaze: Maurice Blanchot and the Sacred (Chicago, 2004), and The Trespass of the Sign: Deconstruction, Theology and Philosophy (Fordham, 2000). He has co-edited or edited several volumes including The Experience of God: A Postmodern Response (Fordham, 2005) and Jean-Luc Marion: The Essential Writings (Fordham, 2013). He is also an internationally renowned poet.
